LineButler
With the LineButler, you close the gap at the end of the line. Instead of palletizing finished boxes manually, an automated palletizing process takes over this task for you.
In combination with an upstream packing machine, the LineButler can cover all key process steps, from box forming, to precise tube packing, to palletizing finished boxes. Each step can be tailored precisely to your production workflows.
The system can be used as a standalone palletizing system, in combination with our tube packing machines, or as part of a complete PackSys Global tube line.
This reduces manual interventions at the end of the line and improves predictability, process efficiency, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

Palletizing in seven steps
The LineButler’s process steps are modular. They can be configured to match your line, your formats, and your required level of automation.
On request, the system can also be connected to automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to automate magazine loading and unloading as well as pallet infeed and outfeed.
Box forming
Flat carton blanks are formed into sturdy boxes, glued, and prepared for the next packing steps.
Tube packing
Inspection
An integrated inspection station checks for completeness and correct tube positioning in the box. Defective boxes are detected automatically and removed from the process.
Protective layer
A protective layer is cut to size and placed on the open box to protect the tubes from dust and external influences.
Lid forming and application
A flat carton blank is placed on the box and formed under precise pressure, creating a perfectly fitting lid.
Labeling
A labeling machine can be integrated into your ERP system to print product- and batch-specific data directly on the label and apply it to the box at the required position.
Palletizing
The fully packed boxes are stacked on pallets according to the customer’s pallet pattern and prepared for the next process step.
