Sometimes a Great Summer Evening Doesn't Need Sunshine
After weeks of hot summer weather, the forecast had something different in store for us on the day of our summer party: rain, cooler temperatures, and little chance of spending the afternoon and evening outdoors.
Cancel? Not an option. So we quickly changed plans and moved the summer party from our outdoor area into our logistics hall. For a few hours, the place where materials and machines usually move through PackSys Global became a space for good food, conversations, and time together.
And that is exactly what our summer party is all about.
For one afternoon and evening, projects, deadlines, and to-do lists take a back seat. Colleagues from different teams come together, conversations are not about the next task for once, and there is time for the kind of personal connections that can sometimes get lost in a busy workday.
Because good collaboration is not only built in meetings or through shared projects. It also grows in the moments in between – when we talk, laugh, and get to know each other beyond our daily work.
The weather may have changed our plans. But we still had a great afternoon and evening together.
